This article is about korean wives. If you ever wanted to find out more about dating girls from Korea, this is for you. Read more of korean wives:
I can't really say that there's something about korean girls that I like a lot. It's just that the more I look at them, the how to find girlfriend online more I start to find out that I just don't really get what they want.
I can only guess. I think that there's just something about these girls that just wants a lot of stuff. I guess it's like, how can I explain it? I don't really know. There's just something about it that kind of makes me want to like that about it, like, oh, I need that. If I was dating a girl, I would be like, "Yeah, I need that!"
Maybe, just maybe, these women are the same as the ones you see on TV dating guys with perfect families. Like, these hot korean girl women are like, "I'm not going to waste my life with a guy like that who can't handle this kind of life and doesn't know how to handle life outside of the family." It's like, they're not just saying, "I don't like this, I'm not going to date that," or anything like that. It just comes out in some kind of way.
Oh, yeah. I don't think they're dead. I mean, they don't look too bad. And you know, I have friends who are Korean and their families are still alive. And some of them, I think, are like, "Oh, my God, I'm going to i can find a lover i can find a friend be able to do this." Some of them are like, "Yeah, I will go to the movies and see the new Star Wars movie." They're just going to go to that movie because they are just like, "Wow! This is the korean girls melbourne best thing in the world!"
I mean, they're all, like, pretty cool. I like them. I like the way they act. I just think it's interesting that people who were born on the Showa era and were really in the military and had to go around and all of a sudden their parents, their husbands, their wives, all of their friends are suddenly all dating women, which, like, is amazing, like, because you're kind of seeing a whole new generation of Koreans coming into the country.
MTV: I think the show is kind of an interesting take on the Korean culture. Because as Korean men go on to find success in the US, they're still like, "My father and my mother taught me this stuff, this kimchi, and I'll never learn it from anybody else." Like, you're just going to learn it from a woman who's not even your wife?
VIC: Yeah, it's a bit strange, isn't it? You know, you're not gonna have that kind of influence over your life.
MTV: Oh, definitely.
VIC: But it's like, you're gonna be like, "Wow, I'm a kimchi expert," and that's going to mean a lot. You know, like in the West, a woman's probably like, "That's a very unappealing food. It's not good for you," and you're like, "Yeah, it's not for me, I want kimchi." And then, you know, you'll see a girl walking by and she's like, "I'm not into that!" And then you're like, "It's delicious!" And then you've kind of done asian ladies looking for man that and you're like, "Hey, let's date!" And, then you'll start dating her and you'll have a little bit of that like, "Wow, I'm totally into that now," because you have a couple things going for you. You know, you're in a culture where you've had all this exposure to the food and you've done a bunch of interviews and you're like, "Oh, I'm really into this, and I really, really, really like kimchi," and so you just kind of feel comfortable and you start talking about it to girls. And then, you know, it becomes more normal for you to talk to a girl about kimchi, and you start to get to know them a little bit better. And then, suddenly, you can be like, "Hey, are you kimchi expert?" Or, "Do you know why I like kimchi?" And then the kimchi conversation will turn into a whole other conversation where you're like, "I'll buy you this kimchi recipe." But, I think that's just another way that I think it happens with women is they really think kimchi's delicious and they don't really see the problem of not liking it. They just kind of assume it's a cool food and they're just not like, "Oh, no, I don't like it." You know, you can say, "Well, you know, you like this and this and this." But, I think the problem is that you have to really think about all the food that's out there and it's like, "Okay, if melissa in korean I'm not getting it, it's not that big of a deal, but I'm gonna keep looking."
[Angel Donovan]: Right.
[Nick Denton]: Yeah, it's like, I think it's something, like, that's just really, like, people just get so, you know, over-sensitized to it. And, I think it's interesting, too, that you get that same reaction with food. You know, if I'm just eating ice cream at a movie, or a burger at a fast food place, or a cheeseburger at Wendy's, it's like, "Oh, that's a good burger." You know, it's like, "It's not the same. It's not the same. This is a little bit different. It's not like the same." But, I think that's sort of the korean websites whole relationship between Koreans and food, is the food is just more, I think, more familiar, and more familiar. And that's the thing, I think. Like, that whole thing about the "bun-bang" being kind of a traditional Korean dish, and that, that's one of the things, and that is the reason why Koreans, and Chinese Americans, and, you know, everybody, we don't get into food as much as they do.
